I was so excited about being one of the ten people that got the level to have my name in the book, and I was so excited, until I heard the news about the co-editor. What's cooler than that recognition is knowing that there are authors out here who will stand up for the things that really matter. We appreciate you, brother.
Man, I was so sorry to hear this about New Demons, it looked like an amazing anthology and I pledged to support it - bummed that one person's shitty actions spoiled it for everyone. And I appreciate you sharing info about it, as I couldn't find news elsewhere (I'm mostly off Xitter these days). Here's hoping the energy for the anthol finds a new outlet elsewhere - I'd still love to read those stories!
What happened that the anthology came apart? Also, "it was going to be nice paycheck"? I've appeared in anthologies. I believe the most I got was $300. What were they paying? Thanks.
